22nd Annual Outer Banks Parade of Homes runs Oct 9 - Oct 12, 2014

What could be better than spending a few fabulous fall days on the Outer Banks? How about spending October 9 –12 on the Outer Banks with the option of touring a select offering of newly constructed coastal homes as part of your planned stay? This year’s showcase includes 20 homes scattered from Corolla’s Villages at Ocean Hill on the north beach all the way south to Avon on Hatteras Island, 18 newly constructed and two large-scale renovations. The home selections feature new designs and many tout new and innovative technologies, products and best building practices. The furnishings and the finishing touches provide you with fantastic opportunities to observe first-hand the latest trends in décor and design. Whether you live here, want to live here, vacation here, or collect rents from those who do - whatever your need, one of these homes is sure to fill that need! The event runs for four days to allow you to enjoy visiting the homes at your own pace while taking time to absorb some of the local color as you tour at your own pace.
Our participating builder members, their staff members and vendors will be in the homes until 6 p.m. each day except on Sunday, when the 2014 Parade wraps up at 3 p.m. Your $10.00 ticket may be purchased in advance by mail, at any of the homes or at select ticket outlets. Your ticket is valid for all four days of the event and ticket proceeds will go to support the Outer Banks Food Pantry and other local charities. Just after Labor Day, you will be able to preview the entire Parade at your convenience on our website www.obhomebuilders.org or you may call the Outer Banks Home Builders Association at 252-449-8232 for more information.
